Removing Windows Welcome Experience

Well, this is a fun little tidbit that I just came across this morning. I find it very annoying when seemingly once a week, when I boot up my computer, I get the same “Finish Setting up Windows” screen.

This is just annoying to me. I don’t need to finish setting Windows up, I’ve already done this! Sure, I can just click “Skip for now”, but why should I have to do this every time Windows decides to throw this message up?

It’s an easy enough fix though! Just click the little message icon at the far right of your taskbar.

This opens your Windows Notification Center.

Click on “Manage Notifications” at the top right. This will bring up the Notifications and actions window.

Simply uncheck the box that reads “Show me the Windows welcome experience after updates….” and VOILA! Easy peasy.
